PSE, widely considered the largest archery company in the world has been building crossbows for many years. Many of their earlier model crossbows such as the Foxfire crossbow are still around and in use today. Unfortunantly PSE has stopped supplying strings, cables or other parts for these earlier model crossbows. If you are an owner of one of these bows you will have to find someone to custom build your crossbow part or build it yourself if you need a replacement.

Today PSE builds two models of crossbow, the Rattler crossbow and the Copperhead crossbow. Both crossbows are nearly identical, the difference being the Rattler has a draw weight of 165 lbs while the Copperhead pulls only 150 pounds. Both bows are made in Tiawan and are considered entry level crossbows. They are adequate for deer hunting if the hunter is careful with shot selection but lack the power of most models built by other crossbow manufacturers.

The ergonomic thumbhole grip, adjustable fore-end and rifle style stock makes it comfortable to shoot and adds to its accuracy.
