The RC-150 crossbow is a light weight crossbow of moderate power. While it is adequate for deer hunting in skilled hands it lacks the range and killing ability of Barnett's bigger models. In our archery pro shop we have stopped selling the RC-150, not because of lack of power but because it has some maintainance issues. All the RC-150's we have seen burn through strings and cable astonishingly fast. We have had too many complaints from customers about the expense of maintaing the RC-150 to make it a recommended crossbow.
